For example, if you purchase the Unlimited dining plan, your Splash Card is credited with $250 in Wavebuck$ per semester to spend at any Tulane University Dining Services retail location, such as the LBC Food Court, Provisions at the Thirtieth Parallel, our Food Trucks, athletic concessions and PJ's Coffee. When purchasing a dining plan, Wavebuck$ can be added in increments of $100 up to $1,000. Each additional $100 raises the base price of the plan by $100. More Wavebuck$ may also be purchased throughout the semester in $100 increments.

NOLAbuck$ are retail dollars built into dining plans. For example, if you purchase the Unlimited dining plan, your Splash Card is credited $25 in NOLAbuck$ that you are able to use at specified retail locations around New Orleans. When purchasing a dining plan, NOLAbuck$ can be added in increments of $25 up to $500. Each additional $25 raises the base price of the plan by $25. More NOLAbuck$ may be purchased throughout the semester in $25 increments.

The Commuter dining plan is tailored to students who live off-campus. The Commuter dining plan has $600 in Wavebuck$ that are retail dollars the student is able to use on campus, as well as $25 in NOLAbuck$ which the student can use at specified off-campus locations. Students are able to add Wavebuck$ in $100 increments and NOLAbuck$ in $25 increments throughout the semester. The student is not required to add Extra Meals or Quick Picks, but if they choose to do so, the minimum is 10 meals. This plan is not available to on-campus students (including those living in Aron Residences). The student also receives a $2 discount off the door price at the Malkin Sacks Commons and $2 discount off the door price at the Green Wave Grille.

Students may add Wavebuck$ in $100 increments and NOLAbuck$ in $25 increments by visiting the Dining Plan website here or in the Campus Services office in the Lavin-Bernick Center, Suite 107. No cash is necessary as the additional buck$ will be charged to the student’s accounts receivable bill.
